Microsoft has steadily been adding features to its MS 365 service over the last few years and it is often hard to keep up.   We decided to put a few of the most interesting recent updates in a single post that might allow your organization to leverage your Microsoft 365 subscription to a greater extent.

  1.  Microsoft Whiteboard – Did you know this cool feature exists in Teams?  A very cool collaboration tool while on a Teams call.  Rich and feature heavy, it provides a whole other dynamic to your next department meeting.

2. Co – Authoring – Many people have heard about this, but most organizations are still not using this.  Co-Authoring allows your team to collaborate in realtime on Office Documents.  You can see the edits and changes in realtime as your coworker works with you on documents.

3. Access to your Online Files Anywhere – With heavily featured mobile apps and web access, you can access your critical documents securely anytime, anywhere you have internet access.   This can be especially helpful when taking notes, pictures or referencing data in realtime while in the field.

4.  Versioning –  How many people are actually aware of how to use versioning?  Did you know you can right click on onedrive or sharepoint files to review each time it was modified, what time it was modified and by whom?  Did you also know you can restore to any of these points anytime you want?  This is an incredible timesaver for document heavy organizations, especially if document templates are recycled over and over again.
